LEAD-OFF TRAINING SERIES

 A short series of group training offered to new GameShape Training athletes. We introduce athletes to a foundation of neuromuscular activation and proprioception, allowing them to be more coordinated, have better balance, and be more athletic in the short and long term.

  • Improve force output in multiple directions and across different planes

  • Enhance mobility and deceleration in an effort to reduce the risk of injury

  • Establish a foundation of functional movement. 

  • Pillar (core) activation, mastering simple movements and positions, and building into more dynamic and athletic plyometric challenges.


Over the course of the series we’ll incorporate movements to measurably improve strength (power), speed, mobility, and overall athletic ability.

The series starts with our standard Power Tests to get a baseline of force output and an initial API (Athletic Performance Index), then retest at the 1/2 way point to track progress. 
Our method ensures that all of our athletes make progress in their horizontal, vertical, lateral, and rotation power. We’ll share our objective progress report with the coaches of the teams, we want to make sure everyone is on the same page.

Athletes will have access to 7 training sessions between September 25th - October 30th:
Wednesdays: 8U - 11U, 5:30PM - 6:15PM; 12U & up - 6:15PM - 7:00PM

Saturdays: 8U - 11U, 9:00AM - 9:45AM; 12u & up, 9:45AM - 10:30AM

You CAN flip-flop between Wednesdays & Saturdays and attend two times during any one week, whatever it takes to get your seven sessions completed before October 30th.
